Very nice! I love the stylized look and the "grasping hands" of the background trees. How are you doing the blur effect?
We need a group for more traditional original papercutting. There's a bunch for paper sculpture and orgami, but nothing for people who draw and design their own work and decide to cut it out of paper rather than do a graphite or ink rendering. I'm kinda new here and wouldn't know where to start.
Thank you very much ^^ The bluriness happened when I didn't stick down parts of the papercut onto the white sheet of paper.
A papercutting group would be cool, especially one that only included original designs; although I'm not entirely sure how to go about creating/managing a group either lol, I've never done it before. I'll have a look around for such a group
All gorgeous - but I really like the girl's pose here, the legs akimbo and the branches there intruding, reaching towards her, like the vision of Fiver was represented in Watership Down. Lovely lighting and a nice little fuzzing around the blackened areas.
Thank you! Ahh glad it could get across the same creepiness as Watership down haha (that film seriously creeped me out as a child O_o). Also I'm glad the fuzziness isn't detrimental, I keep thinking I should have sharpened up the edges a bit more, but you've made feel a bit better about it now.
